Gardner has a long history of chair making and has been nicknamed The Chair City for decades. We handcraft each piece of furniture the same way our fathers did when they started the company.

We take pride in the product we make and customer service is our top priority. We use northern hardwoods - Ash, Birch and Maple. No Veneers. Each ladderback chair and bar stool has a tightly handwoven fiber rush seat and steam bent slats for comfort. The fiber rush seat has a protective finish that makes it last for years. Quality and craftsmanship is evident in every piece of furniture we make. If you are planning on buying or own an antique table but do not have matching chairs our chairs are a great solution.

Each piece of furniture is completely MADE IN THE USA and built to last a lifetime. We have been crafting our chairs for three generations. We craft each piece of furniture one at a time using time honored techniques that stand the test of time.

Our ladderback chairs and footstools make great gift ideas - wedding presents, graduation gifts, recognition gifts etc. Ladderback chairs, barstools and footstools can be made in 2-3 weeks.
